The GVTC Foundation is
awarding a total of $40,000 in scholarships again this year for qualified
students to pursue their college education. Applications for the Ritchie
T. Sorrells and the Ola Armstrong scholarships are now being accepted through
the New Braunfels Area Community Foundation who will also review and select the
recipient for each $20,000 scholarship.
The Ritchie T. Sorrells Scholarship recognizes
students who exhibit outstanding leadership qualities and have used innovation
or technology to make a positive change in our community.
The Ola Armstrong Scholarship recognizes students
exemplifying extraordinary service, volunteer work, and involvement in their
local community.

The deadline for applications to be submitted is February 17th, 2017.
